Faculty Development Program (FDP) by VS is a teaching skill enhancement programme carefully designed to benefit the academic community in the country. It’s a unique platform for faculties to engage in skill development (teaching and research), and identify best practices to deploy in their curricula so that industry ready graduates can be produced.
The unprecedented growth of institutions in India in the past two decades has led to a shortage of updated and well-trained faculty members and has created a quality challenge for education. There is a need for well-trained faculty members who will help improve programs to produce quality and industry-ready graduates. Thus, enhancing the academic and intellectual environment in the institutions by providing faculty members with ample opportunities to pursue research and also to participate in seminars / conferences / workshops has become vital for developing nations like India.
Participation in FDP Program would enable faculty members to update their research and pedagogical skills. The Faculty Development Programme aims at

The FDP is designed for management teachers and researchers working in management schools, universities, colleges and professional institutes. Individuals teaching in staff training colleges, training centers of industrial organizations, and staff training institutes of central and state governments which teach management and allied subjects are also welcome to apply.
Faculty Development Program (FDP) is divided into 2 sessions. Total duration of the session will be 4 hours.
Objective of FDP is to help faculty members understand the training requirements so that they broaden their perspective in bringing the overall growth and development of the students.
